We want to tell you a little bit more about our business, how we work and our goals and values. The great thing about starting a blog is that we can easily answer questions or address any concerns that potential customers or buyers have.

✔️ First established in December, 2005, MendMeShop (which is our Brand Name), was incorporated in 2005 under the company name In.Genu Design Group inc.

✔️ We are a registered company, based in Ontario, Canada. Our head office is actually located in the stunning town of Collingwood. A little side note, Collingwood is consistently named one of the best towns/ cities in Ontario to do business! We love our small town.

✔️ Collingwood lies in the foothills of the stunning, Blue Mountains. The Blue Mountain resort is the biggest ski resort in Ontario and provides fabulous opportunities for the town year around. We are sandwiched in between the Niagara Escarpment and Georgian Bay so truly have the best of both worlds.

✔️ Stunning hiking trails and crystal blue waters of the lake. Wasaga Beach, less than 10kms away, has the longest freshwater beach in the world. Yet another reason to live and work in this stunning community.

MendMeShop’s CEO is Darren Cole, a computer whizz and business owner extraordinaire. His engineering and business background (including an impressive MBA) was the perfect combo to get MendMeShop started in the early days.

He has recruited some fantastic employees over the years, who have allowed the company to grow and thrive.

MendMeShop works to provide people and medical professionals with various devices and accessory products to assist in the management of soft tissue damage. Our desire is to assist you in your recovery by allowing you to access various options from the comfort of your own home.

If you are starting to experience pain, MendMeShop always recommends you consult your doctor. You need a proper diagnosis in order to start working on a supportive and dedicated treatment plan.

We have various products which can potentially support this treatment plan.

Everyone has their own individual injury, everyone’s body is different and everyone’s doctor and physical therapist have their own ideas about the best way forward for their individual patients.

We have a strong working relationship with the warehouse/ shipping center that we have contracted to ship all of our orders. The shipping center is a family run business situated in the heart of rural Pennsylvania, in a small town called Berlin (pictured below).

This small business has also grown and thrived over the years, partly due to the collaboration with MendMeShop. These guys work hard to ship our orders, usually the same day the order is placed.

✔️ The Disabled American Veterans Charitable Service Trust is one of the organizations we regularly support. This special organization provides and coordinates key services to help American Veterans who are experiencing tougher times, whether this be financially, physically or emotionally.

✔️ This crucial organization supports programs that provide homeless Veterans with food, shelter and vital services to help them access medical care, government benefits and employment services. The DAV hosts job fairs and provides employment resources to help give Veterans the opportunity to participate in the American Dream that their sacrifices have made possible.

✔️ Best of all, the DAV Charitable Service Trust donates a large percentage of all the funds it raises, directly to programs and other charitable groups to help Veterans.

✔️ They offer rehabilitation programs for Veterans who suffer from severe disabilities and specialized care programs for those afflicted with amputated limbs or blindness. The DAV Trust supports programs that help critically injured Veterans who are not receiving adequate care through traditional means. These programs help provide military veterans who suffered extensive physical and/or mental injuries with support. They encourage these heroes to live a life with greater respect and dignity

✔️ The Trust maintains a volunteer-operated transportation network that provides around 600,000 free rides per year to sick and injured Veterans, to hospitals or other facilities.
